Repeat this process every 20 to 30 minutes until the mixture is thick, hard, and the right texture is achieved.

The custard can be prepared the day before and refrigerated. After that, put it in the freezer to solidify.

Once the ice cream mixture has been strained, set the bowl in a bigger dish of ice water. Mix the blend until it cools down entirely.

You might incorporate some organic purple food colouring.


For people who are allergic to eggs, this ice cream recipe is safe because it doesn’t contain eggs.


  • Half a cup of heavy cream
  • half a cup of milk
  • half a cup of honey
  • Two tsp dried culinary lavender 

Steps to Make It

01: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, 1 1/2 cups milk, 1/2 cup honey, and 2 teaspoons dried culinary lavender. Cook until the lavender cream mixture is simmering, stirring from time to time.

02: After making sure the honey has fully dissolved into the cream, take the pan off of the hob. Give it fifteen minutes to rest at room temperature.

03: Strain the lavender cream through a fine-mesh strainer, discarding the solids.

04: Follow the manufacturer’s directions and chill the mixture for one hour before freezing it in an ice cream maker.

05: Enjoy them served in bowls or cones.
